Family organizer app: one app for everything your family keeps in mind

Beeside guides · updated October 2026

In most families one person keeps track of everything: who needs to be where, what's missing from the fridge, when a subscription renews. A family organizer app spreads that knowledge across everyone, so it doesn't depend on one head.

What a family organizer app needs

  • Everyone sees the same thing. What one person adds or ticks off shows up for the others right away, on every device.
  • Fast to add. An entry has to go in within seconds, or it ends up on a sticky note again.
  • Reminders that don't nag. Notifications go to the person it concerns, not the whole family.
  • Mixed devices. iPhone and Android in the same family, plus the computer.
  • Kids included. Even without a phone of their own.

What Beeside covers

Beeside has areas for groceries, to-dos, meals and recipes, calendar, chores, subscriptions, packing lists, birthdays and an encrypted vault. The Today screen shows what's coming up for each person: groceries, to-dos, meals and events.

One field for everything: in Quick add you type “milk 2l, bread, Friday 2pm hairdresser Mia”, and Beeside sends each entry to groceries or the calendar. Anything it isn't sure about goes to the inbox.

One plan for the whole family

With Beeside one person pays and everyone invited is included, up to 20 people, on iPhone or Android. The yearly plan costs CHF 59 and starts with 14 days free, the monthly plan CHF 6.90.
