Check this first
Open More › Settings › Notifications. It should say “Active on this device”; if not, tap Turn on.
If it says “Turned off in your phone's settings.”, tap Open phone settings and allow notifications for Beeside.
Tap Send test. If the test arrives, the route to your phone works.
Check the switches under “For Anna”: To-do reminders, Events, Subscriptions, Birthdays and Weekly plan.
Common reasons
- No due date: to-dos only remind you once they have a date.
- Someone else is assigned: then only they get the reminder. For events, only the chosen people are reminded.
- Private: private entries only remind the person who added them.
- Hidden area: an area you've hidden no longer sends reminders.
- Event added late: if the start is more than 15 minutes ago, no reminder comes.
- No plan: without a plan Beeside doesn't send notifications.
When notifications arrive
- To-dos at the time you chose, 08:00 by default. Birthdays and subscription deadlines from 8 am.
- The weekly overview on the day and time you chose, Sunday 18:00 by default.
- Beeside checks every minute what's due. If your phone was off for a while, a reminder can still arrive up to 12 hours later.
