Add and refresh a widget
On iPhone
- Touch and hold the Home Screen until the icons jiggle.
- Tap Edit at the top, then Add Widget.
- Search for Beeside, swipe to the size you want and tap Add Widget.
For the grocery widget, use Edit Widget to choose whether your main store or all stores appear.
On Android
Open More › Settings › Home screen widgets and tap a widget to place it on your home screen, then confirm there. For the grocery widget, choose the store with Customize widget.
If a widget looks wrong
- Widgets show what the app last had on your phone. Open Beeside briefly and they update.
- On iPhone the app stores the state 7 days ahead. If it hasn't been opened for longer, the chores widget says “Open Beeside to see today's chores.”
- On Android widgets redraw every 30 minutes. A tick in the widget is saved, even offline.
- If it says “Sign in to Beeside”, the phone is signed out.
