Subscribe to school and club calendars, private or shared

Coming soon to Beeside · updated October 2026

Schools, sports clubs and music schools often publish their own calendars you can subscribe to. Until now those events end up in one person's phone calendar, and the rest of the family doesn't see them.

What's coming

  • Subscribe to external calendars by link (ICS), like school, club or timetable. They'll appear as their own coloured layer.
  • When subscribing and for each event you'll choose where it shows: only in your calendar or shared with the family.
  • Attachments on events, like the school letter as a PDF or a photo of the invitation.

What's already there

Private events are already visible only to the person who created them. In the app, Beeside shows your phone's calendars next to your events, so a school calendar you subscribed to there shows up too, but only on that device. And the other way round, you can subscribe to Beeside in Apple, Google or Outlook.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create private events today?
