Stars, rewards and allowance

You set how each child is rewarded on their card under Week, allowance, and history › Reward settings.

• What motivates Mia? Stars, Allowance or Both.
• Allowance per star or per chore. Per star you set the Amount per star, which starts at 0.20 the first time you switch. Per chore, each chore gets its own Amount per chore.

Add rewards

1. On the chores page, open Rewards: the button top right on the web, the gift icon in the app.
2. Tap Add reward or one of the suggestions, for example “Ice cream” for 10 stars.
3. Enter the Price in stars, 1 to 999. With more than one child, choose under For whether the reward is for all kids or just one.

Redeem and hand over

Only the child can redeem, in kids mode or on their paired device, with Redeem. The stars are taken straight away. You'll see “Mia redeemed Ice cream” at the top of the chores page. Given closes it, Decline returns the stars.

Keep track of allowance

Under Week, allowance, and history › Allowance you see the Balance. Record payout adds a payout, a credit or a correction. Beeside only keeps the books; it never moves real money.
