Kids without a phone: kids mode and the family tablet
In Beeside a child gets a profile, not an account. Add them during setup or later under More › Settings › Family › Add child.
Kids mode on your phone
- Open Chores and tap the sparkles icon at the top right, Start kids mode.
- The first time, set a four-digit PIN for kids mode. It only applies to this device.
- Hand over the phone. Your child sees “Hi Mia!”, their chores, stars and rewards, big and colourful.
- The only way out is Exit kids mode and your PIN.
Family tablet
A tablet in the hallway shows the family's day: “The Kellers today”, every child's chores, meals and events. It has no settings, shows no allowance and nothing private, and the screen stays on. You set it up like a kid's device, with a QR code.
