Share from your browser

  1. Open the recipe page in the browser on your phone.
  2. Tap Share and choose Beeside.
  3. Beeside opens the import, reads the page and shows Review import. Check it and save with Save recipe.

From a link

  1. Open Meals › Recipes and tap Import recipe from link; on the web, Import recipe.
  2. Paste the Recipe page link. If “https://” is missing, Beeside adds it.
  3. Check the draft and save it.

Which pages work

Pages that publish their recipe in a machine-readable way (schema.org/Recipe) work best, and most big recipe sites do. If Beeside only finds a title and image, it says “Only the title and image were found. Add the ingredients and steps.”

  • “No recipe was found on this page.”: the page doesn't publish recipe data. Add the recipe by hand.
  • “No connection. Importing needs the internet.”: try again once you're online; the link stays in the field.
  • “The page didn't respond in time.”: the page was slow. Trying again often helps.
