Birthdays and occasions: think of presents in time
Add a birthday
- Open More › Birthdays and tap Add person.
- Enter the name and birthday. The year is optional; with a year, Beeside shows the age.
- Under Push reminder before the birthday, choose the days: 30, 14, 7, 3, 1 day before or on the day. 14 and 3 days are set by default.
The reminder arrives from 8 am: “🎂 Godmother Sandra's birthday is in 3 days. Got a gift idea yet?” Tapping it opens the person. Birthdays of your family appear by themselves, and nobody is reminded of their own.
Gift ideas
On the person, Add idea notes an idea with a web link and a price note. Ideas are private by default. Swipe right to move them along: Idea, Bought, Given.
Occasions
Under More › Occasions you add trips, parties and more with dates. For a new trip, Beeside can create a packing list and to-dos before you leave, such as “Empty the fridge”, due the day before. An occasion has no reminder of its own; reminders come through its to-dos.
